So I know I haven't blogged in a while...

Yeah, I haven't blogged in quite some time-- I feel terrible. Not really....

I am going to an 80s One Hit Wonder Sing-Along tomorrow at the Alamo Drafthouse and Amanda ad I just got back doing a little thrift shopping at Savers. We are totally dressing up for the occasion. I am very excited.

So, I know its still a month away, but I have been thinking this week about what I want to do on my birthday. I decided that since it falls on a Friday, I want to go out downtown on Friday night, ya know, get my free shots-- get a little dancing done and THEN on Saturday, I want to have a party here at the apartment. A rock-out party since Queen Sing Star is out and also, I really want Beatles Rock Band for my birthday. :D I think in honor of all of the rocking out that we are going to do, I am going to make it a theme party. Everyone can dress up as their favorite Rock Star and the best costume will win a prize. I think its a kick-ass idea.

Other than that, nothing really new has been going on. I plan on going to Center toward the end of next week, so wish me luck with that. Mom is going to pay for me to get my hair done.. YAY. I am totally going to get white highlights again.

So, I will be sure to take pictures tomorrow of all of us in our 80s "let's get physical" ensemble.

I really need to stop being lazy...

....and make more blog entries. I realise this much. But while I am on here let me say: I cannot wait to watch Sunday's episode of True Blood tomorrow. :) It is getting oh so deliciously good. And then coming home and going to see Public Enemies with Cole and his friend, Zach. Woo Hoo! I will let everyone know how that goes. Other than that, life has FINALLY stopped being stressful and hectic. The last few weeks (last part of last week excluded) have been very tiring and I am so glad that my train of bad luck has ended. Hopefully. And I read my horoscope today and apparently July is the month for my professional growth. Nifty! Let's see how that turns out.

Last note: Is it bad that I am already thinking about what I want to do for my birthday even though it is two months away? Does that make me concieted?

Allow me to rant a bit...

I really hate the internet sometimes.

Well, more like I hate some of the people that I am forced to share the internet with.

Two nights ago, my computer was violated. Someone trojan-ed my computer and installed a hideous piece of software on it that disabled it from working properly. A program called WinBlueSoft? Anyway, this program causes false "virus alerts" to pop up and then makes cursors move into the bottom left corner of the screen, click the start menu, and restart the computer...at least that is what it did to my computer. I was watching True Blood (great show, btw) and something popped up and next thing I knew, my computer restarted and when it came back up, my background had been changed and none of my programs would launch; therefore I wasn't able to run any virus scans.

Which brings me to my rant... I had to completely reformat my computer. I lost all of my music because the computer wouldn't stay on long enough for me to transfer my music files, I lost a lot of my photos that weren't uploaded on facebook yet (and deleted off of my camera) and I lost some of my portfolio (which luckily I have it stored in my hotmail account.)

All for what... so some sick internet nerd can jack off to the fact that he/she almost destroyed a piece of someone else's property? It is like "what the fuck"! Other than to gain passwords or personal information, I can not see why anyone would want to take the time to hack into someone's computer... and I promise you, I am sure they could care less about my bank account because I don't have anything in it! It really pisses me off that people get their jollies by creating programs with the sole purpose of just fucking up someone else's shit. I just thank God that I know how to reformat a computer... what about those that aren't computer savvy at all... they have to take their computers to a professional to get it fixed...

Which brings up my main point: Who else out there thinks that all/mosto of the viruses and malware out there are created by computer professionals just so that they can make more money?

WTF...

I was in Walgreen's the other day and saw a product sitting on the counter called: Henna 'n' Placenta...It is a hair mask...with the word placenta in it...

Who knows?  Maybe its god's greatest gift to follicles... with a name like that it would HAVE to work miracles... Why would I ever want to put something on my head that would remind me of a placenta.  I swear, the names that some come up with...

My Sense of Humor

Okay, so a friend sent me a link on youtube to a couple of faux Cleveland Tourism videos.  I have to blog them because they are flat out hilarious.

And then here is a second one:

Hilarious.

Quote Time:

"I have to say last night was quite satisfying. We kicked things off with a round about flags, then went straight into a round with songs from Playstation Singstar, which many of you dominated. I have to say that it was probably this round that helped catapult this week’s WINNERS (we’ll get to them in a sec) to the top early. Antelope Bukowski was so confident that they handed in their answers without even listening to me play the clips the 2nd time. NICE! Props to everyone who spelled Sk8ter Boi correctly. Or, unprops, if that’s a word…

And in their FIRST FIRST PLACE FINISH, Antelope Bukowski!!! I was so happy for this team. Gotta have quiet confidence and preserverence to win."

Yeah.... Antelope Bukowski... that is totally my team.  We totally won last night.  How kick ass.

I know I haven't blogged in a while, sorry to all of those who read my blog on a daily basis and look to me for guidance... I have just had things to do, but I am back and what better occasion to blog than an awesome trivia win?

For a complete recap of the night, check out: www.geekswhodrink.com

There is a picture, but I don't like pictures of myself unless they are taken 20 million times and I am sure that none of my bad angles are used...so I didn't post it... but you can see it on the blog website.  Enjoy :)

TMI, my friend.

So, I am alllll about being an open book, but is it really necessary to convey a timeline of your life on your myspace page?  Like today, I was just reading someone's myspace page and I pretty taken aback.  Not only did I find out extremely personal information in their about me, but details of their current life were splashed all over the place.  Kind of like it was being shoved down my throat.  Give me a break.  Saying that you are dating someone new is one thing, but giving a play by play of your love life is another.  Geez.  Be a little more mysterious, will ya?  People will love you for it.
